Why Is It Important?

LOOK AFTER INDIVIDUALS

Managing mental health at work means that you can support the wellbeing of individuals and help them to stay in good health. They’ll know that you are taking their mental health and wellbeing seriously.

BUSINESS BENEFITS

As well as being ethical, investing in the mental health of your employees is beneficial to your organisation by boosting productivity, improving your reputation, lowering sickness rates, and lowering staff turnover.

HEALTH & SAFETY LAW

There are a number of legal obligations you must meet. Employers have a legal obligation to ensure the health and safety of their employees, and this does include their mental health.
